Response to COVID-19

Our Commitment During the COVID-19 Pandemic

In demonstrating our sense of leadership and responsibility, Ibom is committed to ensuring that our agro-commodities are produced and delivered in a safe and sustainable way. Our management and employees are carefully monitoring and actively responding to the challenges generated by COVID-19 in our business space and beyond.

We have been working with farmers, suppliers, customers and others along our supply chain to continue to provide safe and healthy food. Our work is critically important and essential to help maintain well-being for our global population.

In such challenging times have we realized the delicate nature of our global food system and we will not shy away from the role which we are expected to play to maintain that balance. Our employees and partners are continually made aware of the significant responsibility that we must individually and collectively shoulder in our day-to-day operations.

We have established precautionary measures to keep our employees safe and have also developed business contingency plans to mitigate disruption and ensure we can continue to operate the business, nonetheless.  In these unpredictable times we will do everything we can to continue to play our role in the agro-commodity supply chain.

Our focus will be on health and safety across all our operations as we anticipate additional challenges ahead. We will leverage on our experience and relationships in all our areas of operation in order to remain flexible and adapt to business and operational demands as they evolve over the coming period. The safety and well-being of our employees and their families, suppliers, farmers, communities and customers remains a critical priority for our company.

We will fight COVID-19 as a united front and we will come through much stronger.
